The purpose of this is to help draw more people to the DIY drones community. Also if I get enough people to send me their personal UAV photos and their own descriptions it will make for an interesting collection. Its mostly to help inform more amateur UAV enthusiests about the site though.

yeah I also have problem with the "not giving owner credits" part... would be ok if you label the images with our name...

If it will make everyone feel better ill go through the 115 or so photos and credit all the authors and from now on ill say who the author that posted it was.

Perhaps I'm the only one so far but I like it. Nice to see a collection that I can thumb through looking for ideas and see other peoples accomplishments.

I can have my friends and family access the photos.

@Randy thanks so much for the encouragement. I was startin to lose a little faith in my idea but comments like yours give me hope. After I get out of my college class tonight I'm going to update the 111 photos I have posted on the Instagram to show more about the photo and who the original poster of the photo was.

I'm adding who posted each blog and the url to their blogs on each of the 111 pictures that are on the instagram account as I write this.  Please check out the oldest pictures I posted on the account and let me know what you think about my citing the authors. All suggestions will be taken serious. After I am done with adding all 111 authors and their url's all pictures I post after these 111 will contain the blogs author and their link.

I just dislike instagram all together. Technology has advanced a long way since the 70's and 80's. Digital cameras are capable of taking amazing photos. Why on earth people like making them look old and ugly is beyond me. Just just a personal opinion.

You might want to consider whether by posting a third party's work, even if released under a creative commons license, you are still able to abide by Instagram's T's and C's

You represent and warrant that: (i) you own the Content posted by you on or through the Instagram Services or otherwise have the right to grant the license set forth in this section, (ii) the posting and use of your Content on or through the Instagram Services does not violate the privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, contract rights, intellectual property rights or any other rights of any person, and (iii) the posting of your Content on the Site does not result in a breach of contract between you and a third party.

I think at best it will be a legal grey area...
