Quadrocopter Electronics Mount
Just received the plates I ordered at Ponoko and mounted my electronics on it. My measures were good but I chosed to put the xBee on the side instead of on top so I missed two holes for it, fortunately tie wraps saved the day! Next version will account for the new placement of the xBee and protect it better. If people are interested I can upload the eps files for Ponoko after I make some adjustments.

I've got two way telemetry working on my Ardustation, talking to the ArduPilot Mega (APM) using the standard BinComm protocol (GCS_PROTOCOL_STANDARD). So far I can edit PID values and check essential mission following data, along with the standard summary of attitude, location and heartbeat data.
This should make life a lot easier, being able to tweak the plane whilst airborne and seeing what it's up to - without being required to sit down…

(I´d specially like the last part...)
Hi All,
this project could be a bit out of scope here but this is also a recycling project. I used an old Ardupilot board and 3 old servos to construct this robot... And there is also a nice story behind this project:
Some weeks ago, my daughter (4 years old) said me:…

First Easy Star Setup/Purchase Suggestions
Hello everyone! This is my first post to the site though I've been following for over a year. I'm finally to the point where I would like to begin purchasing equipment for my first Easy Star Drone.
Background: I have successfully built and flew my Blimpduido kit. I've also been flying around for a a couple months the Hobby Zone Champ (RTF). This has been the extent of my RC/Drone background though I have been playing around with Arduino on other projects for over a…

Micro Air Vehicle CAD models for QGroundControl wanted

The QGroundControl dev team is currently hard working on the integration of more autopilots and the 3D outdoor view. In line with these efforts we would like to add more CAD models of airplanes, helicopters and other MAVs to allow users to select a CAD model close to their aircraft.
If you have a CAD file…

Hello ArduPilots,
Here you will find my latest updated version of the ArduPilot (v2.7.4a JLN) successfully tested in autonomous flights with a Multiplex Cularis (GPS Ublox and ArduIMU v1.6). This version runs very well with the GPS Emulator v1.1.45 and you may test it yourself at home.

Wish to extend a massive congratulations to DIY Drones - Cross Country Trust Flight - Using Pure Telemetry
Firstly I wish to convey my highest appreciation to all the developers and members of this community.

For those who do not know us, i wish to make a small explanation as why i am posting this.
Im my/our line of work, i/we have worked (and still do when required) on high end Mil spec UAV/UAS, and we wanted to do a mission not dissimilar, to what is required in real world situations.
This is the…
