Start with reading the Sirf NMEA Reference Manual you find on Sparkfun under the EM-406 description page, especially the part "Input messages". If you're new to this, get information about setting up a GPS chip with some google search.
HI frnds ! how can i program my GPS EM-406 so dat it gives me only binary data.plz help me ,'coz NMEA reading is vry slow .My Gps provides NMEA reading once in 1 second..i got to make it work faster..
