George, best bet is a matt-screen laptop with a cover blocking out the top and sides, imho it works quite well, but it seems harder and harder to find non-glossy screen laptops. Lenovo still makes them, don't know of others.

I know I've seen topics on this subject before but can't find them searching. So anyways, I'm looking to buy a new laptop for my UAV purposes and would like to find something with decent visibility in the sun. Any suggestions? Thanks!
