How many push buttons for the Ardustation

I'm pretty sure there are indeed supposed to be 6. The Shack should have equivalent parts.

GPS with high accelerations

If you do not need SiRF binary there are a couple of 10Hz options out there, and the 4g limitation is pretty much exactly as Mr. Bosak describes it. SO to be clear, it is not that they cannot "handle…

I think we're going to have a AUVSI colligiate entry. That, along with the Sparkfun contest, FIRST robotics (blimps) and our own T3 contests, will probably be all that I can handle this year.

Welcome aboard - we all acknowledge the realities of of life and the time allowance we would have to make; so we'd have to come up with some milestones, and sub-project managers to actually make a go at this. Undoubtedly, not EVERYONE who works on t…

WooHoo - Thanks for the 2 channel optocoupler Jordi! I'll be buying one for my Tracking Antenna Build to work with the new ArduStation Mega. What is the actual Optocoupler part? I'm going to be building a custom board to fit in a tight case with a 6…

Outback Challenge - Who's up for a run??

So some time has passed, and I have a nagging in the back of my mind - why couldn't we field an Outback Challenge Team? We are already working on several projects, and combined we have a PILE of UAS time in the air. We could even purpose-design the entire system; airframe, autopilot, all of it from ongoing projects or designs here on DIYDRONES. I have no doubt we could raise a little money and could field a competitive team. I know we are spread all over the world, and that this is all OpenSourc… Continue

Interesting new use of Arduino

Check out this use of the Arduino...I'm not a huge fan of football (Soccer as we Americans call it) - but this is just cool! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KmjijvX50FQ

Huddle Issues Anyone?

I have been trying for a while now to get into / see the Turn Rate Limiter Workspace in the Workspaces section...but it doesn't come up...I am on two teams, and can only see the Workspace for the New Ground Station Design team. Anyone else having similar issues - or did I get kicked off the team...lol ;)

I have the uBlox GPS Module library part I need to upload.

Someone has GOT to remember seeing this!

SOme time back (within the last two or three months) I recall seeing a ground station setup where a guy was using a graphical LCD module similar to the one proposed for the NEW ArduStation Mega, and he had a very cool interface, even had an artificial horizon on the screen - DOES ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER SEEING THIS?? Wa it here or on some other forum??
