Started Sep 20, 2016 0 Replies

The one piece of hardware that I have more trouble with than anything else, besides possibly the internal compass, is the Airspeed sensor.Trying to find a good location for it that is not easy to…Continue

Using the serial output for controlling an alexmos gimbal

Started this discussion. Last reply by David Nov 14, 2016. 3 Replies

The wiki provides no information on setting up and using an alexmos gimbal with serial output. I have a gimbal that I can control with servo inputs and RC Passthrough, but, the issue is when it gives…Continue

Pixhawk internal compass issues

Started Sep 11, 2015 0 Replies

I am having a strange issue. The Internal compass on the pixhawk when I do the compass calibration does not move much. The first screen which is the external compass spins as expected and gives me…Continue

"Very interesting! I have not heard of the AuraUAS Autopilot system, is it designed for APM2? What I would really love to see is a low cost Angle of Attack sensor for sUAS Planes. Get rid of the airspeed sensors all together and just use AoA and…"

Jason Franciosa commented on Joe Renteria's blog post Helicopter Concept
"My main question is about efficiency. One of the main benefits of Helicopters and Planes over multirotors is they are much more efficient due to a single large rotating rotor, or, having wings and a single motor to create "thrust". If you…"

"I took the plunge for this amazing deal and picked up a Solo at best buy for $400 with the gimbal, spare battery, spare props, and Micro SD Card. For $400, I think it was worth the money and a good deal, however, This drone was never worth $1400.…"
