AFSoftSerial is somewhat outdated also, might help to try upgrading to http://sundial.org/arduino/?page_id=61 which builds on the Lady's library. If you are still completely stuck you may want to give it a shot after all else fails

Check the data bytes. I had this before, it was set to 7bits rather than 8.

As far i manage to conect my rc gear to a BS2 ic controler just controling the Roll acces from an accelerometer in auto comant and switching if i want in manual comant ...Its easy when using pulsin <> pulsout comants on BS2

I’m not going to be able to work on this project for awhile, so I thought I would post about it, partially so that I don’t forget the details myself : )
