"Im using Frysky X6R and SBUS to CPPM converter for single cable. If I put to "no pulse" and turn off transmitter, all channels drops to zero and not just the throttle. I tried it without the SBUS to CPPM and all channels is holding aside…"

Francis Marasigan commented on David Dewey's blog post ArduPhantom: APM ArduCopter in a DJI Phantom Airframe
"Just want to share. I found out that I can also reuse the DJI Phantom LED as APM External LED Indicator. This LED are very bright even on daylight and has three colors, RED, GREEN and YELLOW. When I looked on the PINs for the DJI Phantom LED, it…"

Francis Marasigan commented on David Dewey's blog post ArduPhantom: APM ArduCopter in a DJI Phantom Airframe
"Your are right.  Phantom is really very tippy.  I'll probably  design my own landing gear. I want to be shorter. Not planning to have GoPro underneath anyway but just mobius and video tx. I have some few 3d design by my self and…"

Francis Marasigan commented on David Dewey's blog post ArduPhantom: APM ArduCopter in a DJI Phantom Airframe
"This thing is hard to land. Take-off went smooth for stabilize and alt-mode but when landing after it hit the ground the motor still spinning relatively fast which cause to tip the phantom. Also noticed that crash detection on 3.1 does not kicks in.…"

Francis Marasigan commented on David Dewey's blog post ArduPhantom: APM ArduCopter in a DJI Phantom Airframe
"Finally found it. Somehow my mission planner "Full Parameter List" was gone after the upgrade of mission planner. I reinstalled it and was able to adjust the MOT_SPIN_ARMED value instead selecting of the drop down list on the…"

Francis Marasigan commented on David Dewey's blog post ArduPhantom: APM ArduCopter in a DJI Phantom Airframe
"I'm sure the parameters was wrote. I noticed the effect in throttle when I adjust the THR_MIN.  Also if the THR_MIN is on default (100), random motors are not spinning on 20-30% throttle but all will consistently spin on 40% above. "

Francis Marasigan commented on David Dewey's blog post ArduPhantom: APM ArduCopter in a DJI Phantom Airframe
"I put it up to 250 for THR_MIN and still won't spin on arm.  It just make the throttle very sensitive. Phantom will start hovering in 30% throttle. I even try to lower the THR_MID to compensate the early throttle power.  Wondering…"

Francis Marasigan commented on David Dewey's blog post ArduPhantom: APM ArduCopter in a DJI Phantom Airframe
"Thanks for replying. I tried it but still won't work. I set it to "Fast" and even adjusted the THR_MIN to 155 but still didn't help. I can only see motor spinning after I applied some throttle. It's like the new parameters…"

"I just finished putting APM on my phantom. My APM firmware is 3.1 but somehow when arming, the propeller will not spin until I put some throttle. Anyone having the same experience? Is it normal? The same APM when I used on other ESC will spin motor…"

Francis Marasigan replied to Rolf Blomgren's discussion APM MavLink to FrSky X8R S.Port converter
"Yap thats what I did. Added variable ap_cell_count. Using the upper ceiling of each Lipo S setup. On MavLink_FrSkySPort, I added this: if (ap_voltage_battery > 21000) ap_cell_count = 6; else if (ap_voltage_battery > 16800 &&…"

Francis Marasigan replied to Rolf Blomgren's discussion APM MavLink to FrSky X8R S.Port converter
