I am working on a guillows cessna 172. It is designed for free flight or U control. Its a 36" span, wide chord and a nice fat fuselage for holding bits. Im going to work on making it a fully autonomous UAV for indoor use with no remote control. Not…

I agree with bGatti, using as many existing components will save a lot of money. Think for example of using an Easy Glider wing for example. Foster

Not sure if you've moved pasat this but I've built the telemaster, adapting it as I went and its a stunning airframe for trials. I buil it with over sized space unthere the C of G and over powered it (with gas). Most excellent!

Potential to capture and broadcast FPV video through phone

My friend and I just set up our Easy Star following Chris's recommendations (brushless, ESC, and lipo). We wanted a cheap way to grab some FPV footage to show to our friends and family. We decided to cut a hole in our Easy Star fuselage cover to mount my Blackberry Curve so we could use it as a video camera. I bought a 2 Gigabyte SD card from Rite Aid for $19.99 and we we're set to go. Hey Dan,

I think that image was taken about 200 AGL. I do most of my r/c aerial photography below 300 AGL; currently my favorite camera is a Canon G9 even though it weighs over 13 oz. I have tried many other digital cameras but I have not been satisfied with the resolution; also many small lenses are too "slow" and have barrel distortion.

The santa image is a single picture. I'll have to review the telemetry log to determine the altitude at which it was taken.
