I have the v 1.0 of the shield and am not worried about it. if i want the upgrade its only like $18 so i will just get it when a imu is ready. (hoping someone ports the imu to replace the thermophiles in ardupilot)

Woohoo, ordered my u-blox. all i need now is a functioning adapted IMU with ardupilot and i am in the air!

I added ailerons on my wildhawk (easystar clone) long ago. i think doing so to an easystar would be a great idea.

yes, it works fine. however would be nice to have that integrated directly into the ardustation window.

the current ardustation does not fit on my screen. so i am working to develop one that fits on m screen. would be cool to get mapping built into it at the same time.

As far as ardustation is concerned, i have been working with labview a bit and am learning alot in my free time. The nice thing is that i am learning how to build customized looks to dials and stuff. so i will be able to produce realistic not so gen…

When i was looking into ppz i figured a seperate gps would be best. and with ardupilot i think its very nice. I will give a few reason of why i feel that way. 1. When separated it is easier to replace the unit or the ardupilot when one or the other…

well see that's great, exactly what i was hoping for. so in this case the unit should be offered without the gps module. should cut the price in half.

When it is 100% compatible with ardupilot, will it still require its own gps receiver or will it be able to run off the ardupilot one?
September 26
I was afraid of that. I dont think the XYZ sensors will work where i live. too many mountains. guess i need to wait till ardumega, and find a use for my current ardupilot board.

695$ for a PPZ system is far too much! Go check CheBuzz Paparazzi's prices! I bought my PPZ from him.
