For sale is a Digi XTend 900 MHz development kit. The kit basically comes with two (2) 900 MHz, 1-watt RF Modules, they are identical only except for the antenna connector (one has an RPSMA connector, the other has MMCX). In addition are two (2) serial interface boards, two antennas, various cables and power adapters, CD, etc... Please see the photos for the complete inventory.

I've also attached the product manual (long) and the datasheet (short) in PDF form. The product manual covers the modules but if you look at Appendix B starting on page 59 you will see it also covers the extra items present in the development kit.

These modules have adjustable power output up to 1-watt and Digi lists them as capable of 40 mile range LOS with high gain antennas (the antennas included in the kit are not high gain).

Yes, these modules can be used in lieu of XBees for your APM telemetry but it is not plug and play! If you don't know about these XTend modules I encourage you instead to buy the XBee modules recommended for Ardupilot. They are cheaper and will work out of the box (almost).

But if you are wanting maximum range telemetry and are willing to do some configuration, these are the modules you need.

All the items come new in the original box. I have taken them out to look at them but I have never used them. They are brand new.

The Development Kit is currently for sale at Digi, DigiKey, and other places for $499. A single OEM module alone would cost you $180 at DigiKey (Part #XT09-SI-ND), and this kit includes two. I am asking $250 for the kit, or best offer. This includes shipping to anywhere in the United States.

I can only ship to the US! It is not legal for me to ship these overseas, sorry.
